The Washer Drain Pump is what drains the waste water out of your washing machine. It also houses a large filter which can be cleaned with Affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets once a month. This part is designed to be used with select washer brands, including Whirlpool®, Amana®, and Maytag®; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience.
